Method:
1. Make sure you have your safety gear: Safety glasses and make sure if you have long hair tie it up.
2. Get your Bunsen Burner set out and the beaker set.
3. Then you full the glass thing water.
4. Get matches or a lighter.
5. Light the Bunsen Burner and turn the gas tap.
6. Then wait for the water to boil up.

Today in Nga Tangata I did to read a adki about the Kakapo protest is about and I had to whtch this youtube video about persuades why the Kakpo sholud be the mascot for world's ugliest brid.
The Kakpo protest is about this sory that I read about Ugly was about the most ugliest animals in the world and the kakapo was in the six most ugliest animls and this boy says that kakapo's are a grear bird and that it green feathers were like fern fronds. His dad says to him to make a poster about why is the kakapo one of the ugliest animal to get people to sign it so they can take the kakapo of the list. He since a email saying how he wanted the kakapo taken off the ugly list. He read the email and sayed that he don,n thank that the kakapo is ugly and that the came up we this to get people's attention and he say that most of the animals that are on the list are endangered animals. I guess that is ok that kakapo are on the list.

ACTIVITY FINE
Interview someone in your family about their favourite place in the world. I picked my mum to interview about her favourite place in the world.
For the past term in Music with Miss Bancroft we have been lening about the different famliles and what the are string brass woodwind and percussion and who they can make their different noise by. And I also learnt who to make a our own macarons/ mini drums with plastic cups, rice and balloons I like doing it because it was fun to play whit when we were done making it. I learn all about what a Orchestra dose and were they set in the orchestra.
One thing I did not like was doing the Jamboard because when some people more other people thing on the Jamboard and being a bit silly by making their thing really big so that other people can't but there thing on the Jamboard because it has taking up all the room on it and it can get a bit frustrating. one thing I really enjoyed was doing the music through the decades eve slied because I liked that we do it ourself and I like that when we doing the research to find song and famours musicians names from the decades that when we are doing it we learn more about what music and genre was poplar in the decades that we were doing that ones a week every week of the term we did a new decade. . I also learnt who to make a our own macarons/ mini drums with plastic cups, rice and balloons I like doing it because it was fun to play whit when we were done making it. This week in music we have been leating to rock music and leraning more about rock music I learnt that rock music is so popular.

I think that rock music is so popular because people love rock music because it provided an alternative root of escape into the world of songs and music rather than those old antiquated styles. Rock music was always a fine alternative style of music rather than those old folk and classical music styles rock music and immediately, the new musical styles became most appealing to teenagers in the 1950s because it gave them their own special identity and voice. Also teens were strongly attracted to the good looks and sexual appeal of the appeal of the artists and the music...in fact black artists started to become more popular in the mid 1950s.

In my opinion I agree that carr stamps encourage students to make positive choices because if you get a carr stamp of being good you can get a cach pluld out if you have a full carr stamps in the calls box and you cold win a $2 or $5 dollar voucher for the caft and when you get 10 full carrs stmps you get a $10 dollar voucher for The hornby hub mols or you can get two $5 dollar vocher for the caft and it is a good whay to get stdents to work hand because if you do you can get carr st.

In my opinion I disagree that I that year 7&8 students should be allowed to have pones at school because it is not necessary for 7&8 to have phones at school. Here is why I disagree that 7&8 should be allowed to have phone at school because when you are 7&8 you don,t need to have phone at school because it is not necessary to be allowed to play on your phone at break times because you can be doing other things that are more useful like finishing up work that you have not finished or playing out side games with your friends or reading and more things but I do think that you should be allowed to have it in your pocket. So that is why I disagree that year 7&8 students should be allowed to have phone at school.
