Today I did the spring learning Jorney activity One I had to Create a timeline using images and information about the key transport inventions and here is what I did for it.
1. The wheel's intention because before the wheels was invented, people had to walk, carry very heavy things, and had to use a boat to get overseas. Here are some wheels from when they were first invented to now. According to the U.S. patent and Trademark office, the first patent involving a wheel was issued to James Macomb of Princeton, New Jersey, on August 26, 1791-just one year after the U.S. Patent Law was passed in the U.S. The wheel was the first transport. |
2. Bikes: A Cerman baron named Karl von Drais made the first major development when he created a Steerable, two wheeked called bikes contraption in 1817. |
3.Industrial: Although used earlier by French writers, the term industrial Revolution was first popularized by English economic historian Arnold Toynbee (1852-83) to describe Britain's economic development from 1760 to 1840. Invented by Many Answers. |

5.The car: How did Karl Benz invent the car? In 1885, Benz a motorcar whose internal combustion engine was powered by gasoline. A love of bicycling had inspired his desire to create this vehicle, and his first design drew on the tricycle. Benz's three-wheeled automobile, which was called the Motorwagen, could carry two passengers.He invented the first car ever. |
6. Bus: Development. In 1830 Sir Coldworthy Gurney of Great Britain designed a large stagecoach driven by a steam engine that may have been the first motor-driven bus.

7. Truck: The first truck in the world was Gottlieb Daimler in the !896.One of the greatest talents of inventor and German engineer Gottlieb Daimler was finding new areas of application for his engine. |
8. Scooter: The wooden kick scooter with skate wheels, crude but very effective, dates back to sometimes in the 19th century, when motorized bikes also developed. The first motorized scooter for adults, the Autoped, was developed in 1913 and patented in 1916 by inventor Hugo Hugo Cecil gibson (seen in cover photo) |
9. Skateboard: In 1963, Larry Stevenson started Makaha skateboard company to mass-produce his surfboard shaped skateboard design. The unique shape offered a better ride on the concrete wave |
10. Dirt Bikers: Back in 2009 New Zealanders started slapping PVC sleeves onto the rear tires of the childhood classic, killing the grip and letting the back end slide, or drift, around corners. And thus was born trike drifting. Dirt bikers and daredevils in hillier parts of the U.S. |
