 WINTER LEANING JOURNEY ACTIVITY ONE

For this activity a had to watch this video about this girl Sadako and the Thousand paper cranes and then I had to read the a story about her and then I had to make a paper crane and do some questions.

 Here is a picture of my finished crane  and this was the first time I did  it.

1.  Who is the girl in the video? Serena Liu.

2. Where is she?  She is in the cloud?

3.   Why do  you think she is there? because she got taking there by the paper crane and so she can be rembembbered by the story behind all of it.

4. How did she get there? She got there by going on a big paper crane.

5. How does it feel ? She fells depressed / sad / confused.

6. What is a paper crane? Is a kind of origami 

7. What dose it represent? It represent the paper crane and the story behind it and her country.

Although Sadako died at a very young age, her legacy continues. To this day, the paper crane is probably the most recognized origami model .There is so much behind the story shown in this video. Sadako was a child living in Japan when the atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima, 1945.
