The Jet boat Invention.

 THE JET BOAT INVENTION

To In Hurumanu 3 Today I had  to read a article about a invention and the invention I did was Jet boat then I had to do some questions and complete all the questions on my blog.

Once upon a time in the holiday  I  want to go somewhere and my dad have a idea

to go swimming  saw we  went  swimming  with my  two uncles and cousin  including my

cousin Ruben how came up to Christchurch  from Dunedin came  swimming with as we

went to  the  Pool.  At the pool  I Jumped off the Jumping board  for the first time into a 2.2 m

etre deep pool and I did a   front flip   In the pool two times and I got told off by a lifeguard  to

stop flipping off the Jumping board. After the pool we had a barbecue at my house.

Today for  Hurumanu 3 we haved to read a article  about  magnetism and   answer  some questions   on a blog.

 

1 . What does magnetism mean? is a What is an amazing force that pulls some metal objects together or pushes them away from each other. 

2 . What are the ends of each magnet called? poles one of the ends are called north pole ' and the other end is called the south pole. 

3 . Where was the lodestone found? In magnesia objects.

4 . Tell your reader  one fact about the lodestone. That they used to make compasses. A compass has a magnetic needle that always pints north.

Today for Maths I did stage six ing prototec.

This week For music we did string instruments and I learnt how To play a ukulele.

we have been learning about string instruments in music the last two week's. 

This is a violin.

you can play it by using a bow. The bow is made  of  horse hair.

A string instrument is made out of wood and they have strings. There is a hole underneath the strings that helps the strings vibrate to make a noise.

Today For maori I Haved to write 3 There Facts about matariki and this is there fats about matariki.

Matariki is a maori New year for all New Zelanders.

FACTS 

1 . Matariki has many different names around the world.

2 . The reappearance of the Matriki stars signals the beginning of the Maori New year. 

3 .  matariki is day celebrated  on  the 24 of June . 

Today For Maths I Am Doing Sage six In Prototec.

 I got two wrong and I got 95%.

Snow landing planes invention.

The last week for invention I hand been learning about snow landing planes and when where   who created it How has it helped change the world &  how many years ago was it invented.

The last 2 weeks we have been doing activity about earth day and there is one of the activity it did.

I had  to write  10 things that we can do for the environment. 

The most important invention is ...........

The most important invention to me is ELECTRICITY.

Why?  Because if we didn't have electricity we wouldn't be able to make phone calls in case of an emergency. Unable to text

Heat-pump / heater (cold)

Oven / stove top (Meals would be cooked on bbq)

Appliances (toaster, jug, blender, slow cooker, toastie machine)  (would need to use alternatives on the BBQ)

Washing machine / Dryer  (Hand wash, hang on line)

Fridge / Freezer (Chilly bin)

Microwave (alternative  cooking required)

Hot water cylinder (used to heat water for showers, bath, dish's, washing)  (no hot showers unless solar  in summer )
